Blissful Escapes Spa Parties exists today as the result of an invitation I accepted a couple of years ago to attend my very first spa party, having been invited by my dear friend, Marilyn, (to whom I will be eternally grateful), to spend an evening in her home with "the girls" - pampering ourselves at an "at home" spa party.   Needless to say, the experience for me was absolutely transforming. 

Prior to that memorable evening, my day to day life, as is often the case with so many other women trying to meet the conflicting demands of home, family, kids and friends, had become almost robotic in nature.  It seemed that I was always able to make time for just about everyone but myself and I rejected the notion that I "needed" to take time out for myself.

 WHY CHOOSE US?

IN ORDER to live our best and most productive lives, truly taking care of ourselves requires a fundamental shift in our perception of what constitutes "quality of life".   Taking regular time out to relax and rejuvenate our mind, body and spirit is a gift we can give to ourselves and to our families.  For many women, visits to a traditional day spa are not an option - at least not on a regular basis.  We might receive a gift certificate for a facial or a massage on a "special" occasion like Mother's Day or on our anniversaries, but taking time out for ourselves seems to take a back seat all too often. 

OUR INNOVATIVE & UNIQUE FUSION of "spa + party"  makes it possible for women to take time out from their busy lives to relax, refresh, rejuvenate and pamper themselves without breaking the bank!  

WE OFFER A VERY AFFORDABLE alternative to the traditional day spa experience by creating at home parties in a spa like atmoshphere that are perfect for any time you want to get together with the girls and party in your own personal style!   Unlike traditional "try before you buy" home parties, we are an independently owned company.  As such, we never impose on our clients or their guests to promote any of our products or services - we want you to provide you with an informal and relaxing environment that encourages you to socialize and party in your own personal style!

WE'RE ALL ABOUT WOMEN

Many of the products we use during our spa parties and sell online are made by "stay at home" moms - products like our "Pretty in Pink" aromatherapy neck wraps and foot warmers made by Ian's Momma.

Other products are purchased in a "free trade" environment to support groups of women who create products to sustain themselves and their families - like our terra cotta foot scrubbers which are hand made by made by a women's cottage industry in Pakistan.

  We also use and sell clothing and bathrobes from Just Us Girls Clothing - products like our fleece hoodies, and luxuriously soft World's Softest bathrobes which are sold by Just Us Girls to raise awareness to the devastating impact of bullying (especially the kind of senseless bullying that takes place "girl to girl" ) on the victims and their families.  Just Us Girls demonstrates their commitment to anti-bullying by donating a portion of the proceeds of each garment sold to local "anti bullying initiatives like the Canadian Red Cross' "Respect Ed" and "Imagine - No Bullies" campaigns.

FUNDRAISERS & VENDOR SUBMISSONS

We love to support our local community by offering door prizes and silent auction items to events which benefit women and children.  We also love to hear about products that are either made by women or by companies owned by women that are environmentally and globally friendly.  If you have a product that meets this criteria and would like us to make it available to our clients, or if you would like us to consider donating a door prize or silent auction item for your next fundraising event, please contact us and let us know about it!

We take great pride in the fact that our pricing structure makes it possible for most women to take more time out for themselves.

We also take pride in the fact that we're crazy when it comes to cleanliness!  Our foot tubs and spa utensils are cleaned thoroughly after each spa, using only hospital grade disinfecting and sterilizing products.
